Here are some random pics taken just before Christmas. On Friday I was working on the photography project I have mentioned before. That lead me into 1950´s. Noona from the blog Mymmeli memories was modeling for us as well as her boyfriend and they made a perfect couple from the fifties!

Otherwise the day was dark and rainy but the rising sunlight made me snap some pics at Hakaniemi on my way to take Aaron to the kindergarten.

Satunnaisia kuvia aatonaatolta juuri ennen joulua. Olin kuvaamassa aiemminkin mainitsemaani projektia joka johdatti minut tällä kertaa 1950-luvulle. Noona Mymmeli memories-blogista oli meillä mallina poikaystävineen, ihan täydellinen pari fiftarityyliin!

Muuten perjantai oli toosi sateinen ja pimeä mutta nappailin muutaman kuvan Hakaniemessä nousevasta auringosta viedessäni Aaronia päiväkotiin.

Decades

Olen mukana projektissa jonka kautta pääsen näkemään monia tosi mielenkiintoisia historiallisia tiloja Helsingissä. Ollaan oltu kuvaamassa leffateatteri Maximissa (rakennettu 1900-luvun tyyliin), Malmin lentokentällä ja ravintola Pääkonttorissa.


I´m working on a project that leads me to many intresting spaces in Helsinki. We have been shooting pics in the movie theater Maxim (built in 1900 style), Malmi airport and Restaurant Pääkonttori.

Making duvet covers

I´m working on this lengthy project to make some duvet covers. I have already dyed the fabrics but both sewing and making of the templates for prints are still to be done. The result should be a bunch of hip linen for Aaron. I recently got one duvet cover ready- it was made of a fabric by Fokus Fabrik. I think it´s hard to find any fabrics that would not be too childish but are still suitable for babies. This one is playful enough.
